Made to last 42 days. Made to not leave a trace.

Sustainability for a clinical garment is not a marketing layer — it’s a manufacturing decision. Every choice about fiber, dye, packaging and end-of-life is made under the same medical-device standard that governs how we cut, sew and inspect.

Four commitments

What we measure.

01

Skin-safe fiber chemistry

Every SkinTex® 2.0 garment is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified — independently tested for over 1,000 harmful substances. No detectable phthalates, no AZO dyes, no PFAS.

02

Antimicrobial without metals

Sanitized® treatment uses non-leaching active ingredients embedded in the fiber — no silver nanoparticles, no biocide release into water. Effective for the full garment lifespan.

03

Single-facility chain

Cut, sewn, finished, inspected and shipped from one ISO 13485 facility in Alpharetta, GA. No outsourced links. Zero international air freight on the manufacturing side.

04

Replacement, not disposal

We replace at 42 days because compression has measurably dropped. Retired garments come back through our take-back program — fiber is downcycled into industrial insulation.

Certifications & testing

The standards behind the cloth.

Three external bodies test our garments before they reach a clinic. None of them are paid by us. All certifications are renewed annually.

OEKO-TEX Standard 100Tested for harmful substances

OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

Every component — fabric, thread, closures, dye — is tested annually for over 1,000 harmful substances. Our garments hold Product Class I certification, the strictest level: safe for baby skin and for direct contact on damaged or healing tissue.

  • No detectable phthalates, AZO dyes or formaldehyde
  • No PFAS / “forever chemicals”
  • Heavy-metal extractable levels below detection threshold
  • pH compatible with broken skin (4.5–7.5)

SanitizedAntimicrobial protection

Sanitized® Hygiene Function

Non-leaching antimicrobial treatment built into the fiber at production — no biocide migration into water or skin. Independently tested against bacterial growth, odor and material degradation over a 60-wash cycle.

  • ISO 20743 antibacterial-activity certified
  • Silver-free, metal-free formulation
  • No effect on natural skin microbiome
  • Effective for the full 42-day clinical wear window

LYCRA CoolingThermal regulation

LYCRA® Cooling Fiber

Mineral-based cooling additive co-developed with The LYCRA Company. Lowers skin-contact temperature by up to 2°C in clinical use without active cooling — reducing perspiration buildup and the friction that drives post-op skin irritation.

  • Mineral-based additive embedded in fiber spin
  • No effect on stretch, recovery or wash lifespan
  • Tested under 22-hour wear at 32°C ambient
  • Compatible with sealed wound dressings

Take-back program

Don’t throw it out. Send it back.

Worn-out MED garments come back through our prepaid return program. Fiber is sorted, sanitized and downcycled into industrial insulation by our partner facility in North Carolina. No landfill, no incineration.
